The Maplesville Police Department is investigating a felony theft and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

 

Maplesville Police Investigators released a photo of two unknown subjects wanted for vandalizing a vending machine and stealing approximately $550.00 dollars in assorted currency.

 

The offense occurred, on December 3, 2022, in the early morning hours at Maplesville Supermarket, located on Highway 22. Investigators say the suspects forcibly entered the vending machine and stole currency. The suspects were seen on video wearing hooded sweatshirts and dark clothing. One suspect has a unique and noticeable tattoo on his hand. The suspects left the scene in an unknown direction of travel. The suspects were last seen driving a newer black model SUV.

Investigators say they just received the case, and this is the reason for the delay in releasing the information. Investigators are asking anyone with information that will help identify the suspects to please come forward.

The suspects are wanted for Theft of Property 3rd degree, a class D felony.
