The Jackson’s Gap Police Department sent a request to CrimeStoppers to assist in locating Missing Person, Sandrea Elaine Taylor.
Sandrea Elaine Taylor, 34, was last seen last month, February 26, 2023, near the area of Main Street, in Jackson’s Gap, Alabama. Taylor was described as a white female who stands around 5’2” and weighs approximately 279 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. Tragically, on March 27, 2023, Sandrea’s body was discovered near a residence on County Road 43 in Macon County. Macon County Coroner Hal Bentley confirmed 34-year-old Sandrea Elaine Taylor died of a gunshot wound. The State Bureau of Investigation is leading the investigation. The Jacksons Gap Police Department, Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office and 5th Judicial District Attorney’s Office are assisting.
Tallapoosa County Investigators released a photo of a possible witness who they say was possibly the last person to see Sandrea Elaine Taylor alive. The photo was taken from a surveillance camera at the American Inn located in Alexander City between the dates of February 25 and 26. On Sunday, March 26, 2023, Sheriff Deputies responded to the 4000 Block of Highway 80 East in reference to a business robbery. Dallas County investigators stated that an unknown suspect entered the business armed with an unknown type of handgun. While inside the business the suspect held the clerk at gunpoint and demanded the store’s money. The suspect fled the store with an undetermined amount of money. The suspect was last seen wearing a red hoodie and black pants.
Dallas County Sheriff’s investigators released photos of an unknown subject wanted for the robbery. The suspect fled the scene in a black 4-door sedan heading east. There are no other details available for release at this time.

Sylacauga Police Make Arrest In Fatal Shooting of a Juvenile – $11,000.00 Reward Still Active

Sylacauga Police continue their investigation of the March 7th shooting death of a juvenile in the Drew Court Housing Complex. The Talladega County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the victim as 16-year-old Dallas Johnson.
On March 20, 2023, Julian Nacarie Speer, an 18-year-old, from Sylacauga was arrested for Capital Murder at a relative’s home on Tabor Road, in Gadsden, Alabama. Speer was taken into custody by Sylacauga Investigators, Talladega County Drug & Violent Crime Task Force Agents, members of the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit, and Agents from the U. S. Marshal’s Service around 10:45 AM, without incident. Speer is accused of being involved in the murder of 16-year-old Dallas Bee Johnson. Speer was interviewed by investigators and then transported to Talladega County Jail to await his initial hearing. Speer’s warrant was signed by Talladega County Circuit Judge Will Hollingsworth and has “No Bond” set in the case. This is a Capital Murder case and the punishment, if convicted, is life without the possibility of parole or death.
The Sylacauga Police Department and the victim’s family would like to thank everyone that helped in this case and a special thank you to those that came forward with information from the community that made this arrest possible. This is an ongoing investigation; information is still needed. A reward of $11,000.00 is still being offered for information of suspects involved.

On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, Sylacauga Police received a call regarding shots fired in the area of Drew Court Housing Complex in Sylacauga, Alabama. Upon arrival, units located a juvenile male who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Investigators say the three pictured suspects were seen exiting a small black sedan with no tint and factory rims prior to the shooting. The three subjects were wearing hoodies. One subject is seen walking from the car wearing all black with a white or grey hood, black bottoms, and white shoes, while pulling a rifle from his pants, prior to the shooting.

The Montgomery Police Department and United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised fugitive, Isaiah Gipson, 30, has been located and is now in police custody.
Gipson was originally wanted for capital murder. The original offense occurred on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at about 12:45 a.m., when police and medics responded to the 4900 block of Hatton Avenue, Montgomery, AL, in reference to a subject shot. While on the scene, units located the victim, Fredrikis Heard, 26, who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. Heard was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Investigators say Gipson was identified as the suspect responsible for the fatal shooting of Fredrikis Heard and warrants for Capital Murder were signed.
Investigators credit the media releases by Central Alabama CrimeStoppers for creating public awareness of Gipson, which ultimately led him to turn himself in.

In February, Prattville Police investigators released a photo of an unknown subject wanted for theft of property 2nd degree and criminal possession of a forged instrument. The offense occurred, Wednesday, December 9, 2022, around 3:54 p.m., at Synovus Bank, located at 2005 Cobbs Ford Road, Prattville, Alabama. Investigators say the pictured suspect, described as a white male, entered the business, cashed a fraudulent check, and left the business in an unknown direction of travel.
